Frequently Asked Questions

No. Bode sells engineered construction kits and material packages. A builder or project team constructs and completes the building using the selected Bode system and scope.
You are purchasing a precision-engineered Material Package Kit. We provide the "ingredients" and the "recipe" (blueprints); your builder provides the assembly.
Bode is best described as an engineered construction-kit system. Components are precision specified and packaged for site construction; the exact delivery and assembly approach depends on the selected system and project.
No building should be marketed as fireproof. Shield and Fortify can use specified assemblies designed for 1–2 hour fire-resistance ratings where applicable and properly specified. The exact project assembly and documentation must be confirmed.
Fortify adds project-specific engineering for high-wind/hurricane and seismic conditions based on the project location and applicable criteria.
It should also be noted that our exterior finishes for siding, ACM Panels, and selected roofing options Bode offers are designed for level 4 impact for hail (Highest Rating Available) and are Class-A Fire Rated Materials.
Any competent licensed builder or general contractor can assemble our kits. The wall and roof panels arrive pre-cut to your specific plan. We provide a detailed Installation Guide and structural engineering stamps to help your builder move quickly and accurately.
The simple answer is BODE Material Living Company is a material supplier, not a builder. Just as a lumber yard doesn't provide a warranty on the finished house. Your builder—the person performing the labor—is responsible for the structural and workmanship warranties required by law in your province or state.
Yes. Our kits are engineered to meet or exceed building codes across North America. Whether you are building in the humid Southern US or the freezing Canadian North, the magnesium-based panels and synthetic roofing are designed to withstand extreme temperature swings and moisture.
Integrated+ is Bode’s most complete material package. “Turnkey” can mean different things. Unless the written project scope includes all labour, trades, site work, services, permits, inspections and occupancy requirements, it should not be understood as a completed move-in-ready building.

The Bode package is one part of the total project budget. Site work, formwork, servicing, labor, trades, permits, freight, taxes, financing and other items vary by project and must be evaluated separately unless included in writing.
